Low-level Rangers who are wearing magic armor can also travel south of Varrock in order to fight Dark Wizards. Then just open fire and kill them all to pick up the different runes, ores, and herbs that they drop, which can then be sold off for high amounts of money. They can then go to the room inside the Stronghold of Security containing the Flesh Crawlers and position themselves in a place where the enemies can't reach them. With Flesh Crawlers, players will need to be playing on a Members account first and be either a Mage or a Ranger. Smart players who are able to do this quickly can make nearly 100,000 Gold an hour using this method depending on the going price of Leather.įight Dark Wizards and Flesh Crawlers - These two different enemies can be a pretty lucrative method of earning money as long as the player hits certain requirements. They can then be sold at the Grand Exchange for a much higher profit. If the player has a decent amount of Gold on them already though they can take those hides to a tanner and turn them into soft leather for 1 Gold Piece. This is a low-risk and easy task that grants the player a decent cheap resource at first. As players level up in the game they should move from normal trees to Oak and even Yew in order to maximize their profits.įarm and Sell Cowhides - If the player travels to the pastures near Lumbridge or Falador they will find an abundance of cows that can be killed in order to collect their hides. This will earn the player both experience and a decent chunk of Gold when the wood is sold at the Grand Exchange. This is actually a great way to make money early on because all players have to do is click trees over and over again. The first of these skills is Woodcutting, which at first glance doesn't seem like it would be a very lucrative field. Level Up Woodcutting - Ever since RuneScape was first created players have primarily focused on the "Big Three" skills in order to make money fast in the game. Be patient and careful when trying to sell items to make a profit. Some items in the game will remain more stable than others, and some players may try to charge higher than the going rate for items. This means that at any given time an item that the player is trying to sell could drastically change in price at a moment's notice. Another thing to remember is that Old School RuneScape has a constantly fluctuating market for all of its items.
